St. Anne's Marching Band was founded by Fr. Charles Eberly S.J and Fr. John J Caskin S.J. in November 1962 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Denham town. The Band master was Mr. Keith McCormack the organist of St. Anne's Church. The band was made up of kids between the ages of 9 -12 years old from the alter servers, St. Anne's School and kids from Denham town and Hannah Town.
In 1970 St. Anne's junior band was started by Clive Wyatt( Cody), Edward Jones (Bully) and Felton Henriques and in 1972 they won a Bronze Medal in the Festival Drum Corp competition, while the senior band received a Silver medal. By 1973 Felton Henriques took over as Band Master and merged both band. In 1982 Felton took over as Band director and Trevor Blake stepped in as Band master. 1983 was the last Festival Band Competition entered, where St. Anne's Band received a Gold Medal.
In these years the young men and women continue to show progress in The St. Anne's Church Parish, travelling from Kingston to perform in all 13 parishes of Jamaica. At the turn of the century, crime became rampant in Western Kingston. We see the secondary school closed and the St. Anne's band also closed with it. The members went and joined up with other bands mainly with the Patriots Marching Band.
Special Mentioned Members: Cornwall (Bigga) Ford, Anthony Fairclough (Papa Michigan), Dr. Egbert Pryce (Surgeon), George Taylor (GT Taylor DJ).

VISION STATEMENT
The Saint Anne's Band is a Christian organization aiming to get young boys and girls within the St. Anne’s Community to be disciplined and alert through music and Social interaction.
Our ministry is a reflection of God's unconditional love to the young people and parents of St. Anne’s community, showing Love and understanding through music and prayers. That love and hope embrace the community no matter who they may be.
Christ says “ Suffer the little children to come unto me" is a binding statement in our activity baring none. All members of the parish and the school are welcome no matter their financial background or gender. These are God’s children and will be treated with Love and admiration without exception.
Through music and communion with one another St. Anne's parish will be a beam in the Archdiocese of Kingston and the light of our Lord and saviour in this community.
